BUILT Network Online

This site is sponsored by the federal Ministry of Social Development. It brings together people with disabilities to work as a team to increase their workplace skills. People deal with issues such as low self-esteem, poor self-confidence and mental health problems such as depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder.


Canadian Mental Health Association

Hangin’ in there: Strategies for job retenion by persons with a psychiatric disability talks about what employees and employers need to know so that you can retain your job. It also offers a list of resources available across Canada.

Mental Health Works 

This site offers practical information on mental illness in the workplace. It has a special section for employees and another for employers. It publishes a newsletter with coping strategies and the latest information to help both employers and employees deal effectively with mental illness in the workplace.
